Startups Disrupting The Retail Value Chain

A new category of venture-backed brands is emerging. These emerging brands are generally focused on a single product vertical and premised on delivering new consumer value propositions, controlling production and managing brand messaging and go-to-market strategies as well as disintermediating the value chain. They enable consumers to buy highquality products at better prices, in some cases in sectors currently served by a limited number of large-scale organizations. In this session, we'll hear from leading startups creating new direct-to-consumer brands that have overcome inefficiencies in traditional retail and are instead tackling everything from manufacturing to sales and distribution themselves.
