Track 4: Changing Consumer Preferences
Product Customization Using 3D Printing and Imaging
As 3D printers have become more capable and better able to process a broader range of materials, 3D printing technology is increasingly used to produce final products rather than just prototypes. Today, 3D printing is being used to create mass customized product offerings--in addition, emerging digital imaging technology that takes a 3D scan of the entire body has the potential to take customization to the next level. Hear from some of the brands and solution providers employing both 3D printing and imaging capabilities as they discuss the challenges and opportunities in using these emerging technologies.
