Retail Analyst, eMarketer
Yory Wurmser is principle retail analyst with eMarketer, the leading research firm for digital marketers. He covers the full range of digital retail, whether in-store or online, from shopper behavior to marketing trends and new technologies for engaging and tracking consumers. Recent reports have covered omnichannel marketing, holiday shopping and mobile commerce. Prior to joining eMarketer, Yory was Director of Marketing & Media Insights at the Direct Marketing Association. He ran the research department at DMA, producing research for the marketing industry while also helping set internal strategy. Before entering the marketing world, Yory worked in management consulting and as a scriptwriter for TV documentaries. He also has a Ph.D. from Columbia University.
