Bill Adler
CEO, True Fit
Bill comes from multiple generations of apparel leaders, and brings 20+ years of leadership experience building global brands & scaling successful businesses spanning retail, apparel, software and service to True Fit, where he has been CEO since 2010. Under Adler's leadership, True Fit raised over $30M in venture capital, built a world class team of data and retail leaders, mapped the world's largest footwear & apparel data discovery platform (GenomeTM) through partnerships with thousands of top brands, the world's leading retailers, and tens of millions of consumers, and scaled a SaaS platform helping retailers unlock growth in the $1.5 trillion footwear and apparel industry.

Prior to True Fit, Adler spent nearly a decade with Timberland in a variety of management roles, most recently as founder and head of Business Direct, an internal start-up he launched, grew and integrated into Timberland. Adler holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan, and a BA from University of Wisconsin-Madison. Bill is originally from Cleveland — a long-suffering but perennially hopeful Cleveland sports fan —and lives in Brookline, MA with his wife Sheryl and two daughters.
