Rohit Singh

Rohit Singh is a Managing Director in the Consumer Products & Retail Group at UBS, where he is responsible for corporate finance advisory for Retail corporate clients. He is a highly experienced financial services executive, and he has deep expertise in the apparel, discount, food, and specialty retail sectors. Rohit previously served in increasing levels of responsibility at J.P. Morgan / Bear Stearns, and Citigroup, respectively. Separately, he served as an investment professional at Gryphon Investors, a private equity firm.

Rohit serves The New York Public Library as Co-Chair of the Young Lions Committee and as a member of the Council Committee for Education. At the University of Pennsylvania (Penn), he is the first alumnus to serve as a Director of the Advisory Board of the Huntsman Program in International Studies & Business. In support of Penn’s Libraries, he serves as Co-Chair of The Orrery Society and as a member of the Penn Library Board of Overseers (ex officio). Additionally, Rohit and his wife support Stanford University (his wife’s alma mater) and The Ohio State University, respectively.

Rohit graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Pennsylvania’s Huntsman Program in International Studies & Business. He holds a B.S. in Economics and a B.A. in International Studies.

A second generation Indian American, Rohit was born and raised in Central Ohio and graduated from The Columbus Academy. He lives in Lower Manhattan with his wife and their two young children.
