Tim Parry is a career journalist who joined joined the Multichannel Merchant team in 2006 as a Senior Writer. Ten years later, as Managing Editor, Parry is responsible for the day-to-day operations of MultichannelMerchant.com, and is in charge of providing and sourcing editorial content. Parry also heads up programming for Multichannel Merchant’s annual Growing Global conference for cross-border retailers, and is a semi-regular speaker on the trade show circuit.

Under Parry’s direction, Multichannel Merchant’s 2015 recognition included a No. 10 ranking in NGDATA.com’s Top 50 Big Data Marketing Blogs, a ranking of 12 in VendHQ’s Top 25 Retail Industry Websites, recognition as a Top 10 Ecommerce Blog to Bookmark by Twenga Solutions, and acknowledgement as one of Whisbi.com’s Top 40 Omnichannel Influencers. Multichannel Merchant also won a 2015 Editorial Excellence Award from parent company Access Intelligence for its video programming surrounding the 2014 holiday season.

Parry began his career as a sportswriter, and has been a beat writer for but the New York Giants and New York Jets, and has launched start-up publications that covered the NFL, the Arena Football League, and High School Football in Southern Connecticut. Parry has a BA in English from Western Connecticut State University, where he was captain of both the College Bowl and Debate teams.
