Peter Callahan
Founder & President, Arkle
Peter Callahan, Founder and President of Arkle Advisors, has developed and led innovative digital marketing strategies for more than 20 years. At Arkle, he works with clients on creating customer acquisition and retention programs that drive sales and a stronger company competitive advantage through the innovative use of technology.

In the last 18 months, Peter and his team have vetted over 250 point solutions in the marketing and sales technology space, including mobile, data, video, identity, analytics, measurement, creative, dynamic content, virtual and augmented reality. Through extensive research and collective industry-knowledge, Peter helps accelerate the evaluation, selection and on-boarding effort of solution provider, plus counsels clients (both brands and technology providers) on developing a comprehensive data-driven sales and marketing strategy.

Prior to starting his own company, Peter held key roles in some of the best growth companies in Advertising and Marketing Technology, including Dotomi/Conversant, Omniture/Adobe, Avenue A/Razorfish & Arnold Advertising. Most recently, Peter was the Vice President of Dotomi/Conversant working with top retail brands such as Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Gap, Old Navy, Eddie Bauer. Peter worked along side these top retail brands moving their offline marketing mix to a multi-channel effort with data-driven results and customer personalization.

Peter’s began his career in data-driven marketing at a summer internship at McDonald’s. Here he studied daily transaction logs from 200+ McDonald’s restaurants across the south of the United States, and evaluate the cause/effect of every promotion and menu offering across the stores, measuring margin results and profitability. Using this information, he directed the McDonald’s Regional Advertising strategy.

Peter sits on the board and/or serves as Advisor to select companies who bring solid and differential capabilities to the marketplace.

Peter resides in San Mateo, California, is joyfully married to Christina Bruce Callahan, and is a proud dad to 3 young children, Jack 10, Emily 8, and Patrick, 4. When not working Peter can be found enjoying the California outdoors and helping out at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church.

Peter graduated from Auburn University with a BS in Marketing and a Minor in Finance.
