Professional Background

Rob Cain is a Partner in the firm’s Retail & Consumer Practice where he leads Technology Consulting. Previously, Rob was a leader of the Information Technology Strategy and Enterprise Architecture competency. Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Mr. Cain is responsible for the development and delivery of world-class technology, information management and business transformation initiatives.

Prior to joining PwC, Rob was The Chief Information Officer, Enabling Functions, for The Coca-Cola Company. Mr. Cain was accountable for the technology systems and services for the global corporate functions at TCCC, including Corporate Finance. Rob’s organization supported all aspects of the transformed corporate functions, inclusive of HR, PR, Sustainability, Sourcing, Controlling, Consolidation and Planning, Capital Management, Treasury, Tax, Audit, M&A and the regional Financial & HR Shared Services centers in Costa Rica, Buenos Aires, Dublin, Warsaw, Johannesburg and Manila.

Previously, Mr. Cain served as Business Transformation Officer and CIO for Coca- Cola AG and was charged with business process restructuring and the associated organizational change management ; inclusive of Operating Model definitions and HR & Finance transformations. As Chief Information Officer for CCEAG, he served as the senior executive responsible for the commercial systems and information technology supporting back-office, production, delivery and the commercial infrastructure of a $3B market leader.


Project Experience Highlights

Prior to joining The Coca-Cola Company, Mr. Cain was the Managing Director, ADC Telecommunications, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) based in Berlin, Germany. Mr. Cain was the Senior Executive responsible for all Business Unit Activities in the EMEA Region.

Mr. Cain previously served as Director, Global Strategy responsible for global market-based visioning and tactical go-to-market capability. In 2003, ADC concluded a successful 18-month inorganic market entry acquisition with Mr. Cain serving as the business lead and post-merger integration leader for the purchase of Krone. He also led the Broadband Infrastructure & Access Group, for ADC Telecommunications, Inc., serving as the general manager of five product families, in the DSL, HFC/CATV and Service Provider IP Network space.

Prior to ADC, Mr. Cain spent 5 years with AT&T and Bell Laboratories in a series of positions of increasing responsibility including; Global Offer Management, New Product Development, Technical Strategy, and Sales Leadership.

Mr. Cain is the holder of a U.S. Patents in the DSL Access space and his articles have appeared in Telecommunications and Outside Plant magazine.

Mr. Cain holds a degree from the University of Notre Dame and a Masters of Business Administration from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota.
